Sturgeon Bay – Indivisible Door County is sponsoring a rally in support of American democracy on Monday, June 28, 6 pm, at Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. Speakers will read “farewell to democracy” letters; then marchers will cross both bridges and return to the park for a wrap-up.
The point of the rally is to speak with a unified voice in support of American democracy and against the current efforts to protect gerrymandering, restrict access to the polls, protect secret dark-money donations to candidates, and generally undermine the ability of the people to participate in their government.
