Sturgeon Bay School District Referendum to Exceed Revenue Limit

Shall the following resolution be approved?

Be it resolved by the School Board of the School District of Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91 Wisconsin Statutes by $1,200,000 for the year 2010-2011 school year only; by $1,600,000 for the 2011-12 school year only; and by $1,900,000 for the 2012-2013 school year only, for non-recurring purposes consisting of funding educational programming for students.

School District of Washington (Washington Island) Resolution to Exceed Revenue Limit

The School District of Washington is posing two questions on the ballot to be considered separately. Each is to be answered Yes or No.

Question I

Shall the School Board of the School District of Washington be authorized to exceed the revenue limit under Section 121.91(2m) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the 2010-11 school year on a nonrecurring basis by an amount of $292,700 for the purpose of paying the cost of district operating expenses as provided in the foregoing resolution?

Question II

Shall the School Board of the School District of Washington be authorized to exceed the revenue limit under Section 121.91(2m) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the 2010-11 school year through the 2012-13 school year on a nonrecurring basis by an amount of $20,000 for the purpose of providing funds for technology as provided in the foregoing resolution?
