Singer-songwriter Scott Cook will perform April 5 at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek. It is the last concert of the inn’s winter season. Tickets for the 8 pm performance are $19.
A roots balladeer with a rare personal warmth, Canada’s Scott Cook has managed to distill the stories collected over a decade of continual touring across Canada, the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia into straight-talking, keenly observant verse. Road-worn, painfully honest and deeply human, his tunes weave threads of folk, roots, blues, soul and country over spacious finger-style guitar and claw hammer banjo arrangements.
An optional pre-concert fixed price dinner will be served at 6 pm. The menu consists of Ragu alla Bolognese served over pasta. Tickets for the concert, reservations for dinner and information can be obtained by calling the inn at 920.868.3517.
