SDCA Begins Fall/Winter Season with Kenya Safari Acrobats

The Southern Door Community Auditorium (SDCA) will provide a full series of community events and performances this fall and winter. Program director Terry Lundahl recently announced the line-up that includes local and national acts encompassing a wide range of theater, music, dance and comedy.
The season opens Oct. 7 with the Kenya Safari Acrobats. “Lost in Africa” is a spectacle for the eyes, ears and the heart. Death defying stunts, comedy, audience participation and heart-pounding music combine to create a production that will have all ages at the edge of their seat. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children.
Other performances include: Death’s Door Mystery/Comedy Theater (Nov. 23), jazz & world dance workshops (Jan. 4), musical theater workshops (Jan. 4), Julie Gold (Jan. 15), Miss Door County (Feb. 1), Cavern Beat (Feb. 22), Dan Riley and the Dream Band (March 8), Hansel & Gretel by Missoula Children’s Theater (April 22 – 25) and Southern Door’s Got Talent (May 3).
