Season Concludes for Bethany Lutheran

The service on Oct. 19 concluded seasonal worship for the 2014 season at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3028 Church St. (County Hwy Q). The Bethany congregation, ending its 132nd year of service, marked a membership milestone when Jim and Jan Johnson of Fish Creek and Wisconsin Rapids were welcomed and introduced as the couple who put the Bethany’s membership above 100. To highlight the occasion, Church Secretary Patty Fess presented them with the simple gifts of a worship hymnal, a pack of note cards and a small paper replica of Bethany Lutheran Church.
