Second Property Tax Installment Due July 3

Door County Treasurer Jay Zahn reminds taxpayers that the second installment of property taxes is due July 3. The Treasurer’s Office is located on the lobby level of the Door County Government Center and is open weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm. After-hour payments can be put in the mail slot located just inside the 5th Avenue entrance. Mailed payments with a July 31 postmark are considered on time. If a receipt is desired, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. The Treasurer’s Office accepts credit card payments over the counter or at the county website. Be aware that using a credit card involves additional charges. Tax payments can also be made at Associated Bank locations in Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay.
