There’s always something happening at Bazyli Studio Wearable and Textile Art, where owner Peter Ciesla, a bespoke clothing designer and textile artist, creates his own fabrics using native Door County plants and other plants that he cultivates in his gardens.
Stop by the gallery/studio Friday, Oct. 15, to see fabrics – he works with linen, cotton, hemp, silk and wool – in various steps of the dyeing process. They will become clothing that you won’t see anywhere else. The gallery also carries work by other wearable artists from the Midwest and beyond, and don’t miss the gallery/studio’s annual jewelry sale!
Bazyli Studio (bazylistudio.com), 2551 Ahrens Road in Baileys Harbor, is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm, or by appointment, until it closes for the season Oct. 23.
