Seeking Artists for Art-i-tat Fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity is gearing up for their third annual Art-i-tat Fundraiser and once again seeking artists to participate in this year’s event.

This is a great opportunity for budding artists as well as established professionals in the field. The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity. Past entries have included such mediums as “Oil on Door,” “Acrylic on Floor Tile,” “Mosaic Table,” “Beaded Lamp Shade” and “Garden Sinks.”

As in past years, artists are asked to select an item from Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Sturgeon Bay to recycle into functional art. At this time, organizers are simply seeking artist commitments to create a piece of “recycled” art. The event will be held September 8, 2012.

The deadline for artists to commit to an entry is April 16. For more information email Leslie Boden at [email protected].
