Seeking Native Speakers for Multilingual Reading

Write On, Door County is looking for people whose first language is not English to take part in a virtual reading Feb. 21, 7 pm, as part of International Mother Language Day: the day the United Nations has declared to “promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by the people of the world.” The reading is presented in partnership with other writing centers around the state.

Readers will share poems – of their own creation or by a famous poet from their home country – written in their native language.
