• The Edge Salon staff is proud to announce that they are now certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment System. In just a few hours, clients will have healthier, shinier, more manageable hair with up to 95 percent less frizz and curl. Results can last up to five months with no visible growth lines.

Human hair is made up primarily of keratin protein, and this system opens the cuticle of the hair, deposits keratin, and then seals the cuticle closed with heat. Normally, thermal styling is damaging to hair; however, this new treatment is designed to work with the heat of the flat iron to infuse the added keratin into the hair, leaving the hair healthier, shinier, and silkier.

Keratin Complex is not a permanent straightener nor does it use any chemicals. Other systems will leave hair stick straight with little body, and the hair won’t hold any kind of heat styling (i.e. curling irons/ hot rollers). Hair treated with the Keratin System can still be curled as desired and will have body and movement.

There also is a Keratin Infusion available that will give you an idea of what the full treatment can do. Results are temporary, but it is a great way to “test run” the system. An infusion is also recommended as a deep conditioning treatment!

For more information, pricing on both treatments, and to book your appointment, please call The Edge Salon at 920.868.2006.
