You have probably seen this guy

His name is Sam Nelson, of the Blacksmith Inn

A man of great humor with an ever-present smile.

As the innkeeper of the longtime family biz,

Sam is charged with keeping everything looking its best.

He mans the front desk and helps out with the laundry,

Tidying up rooms and prepping for breakfast.

When he’s off the clock, he heads up north

To hike and backpack the wilderness of Newport.

And on sunny and hot Door County days

Find him at a sandy beach catching some waves.
