Sevastopol budget work session Oct. 6

• The Town of Sevastopol will host an informal work session to develop the 2012 budget Oct. 6 at the Sevastopol Town Hall. Residents are encouraged to participate at the 6 pm meeting. The town meeting and hearing on the budget will be held Monday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 pm.

• The Town of Baileys Harbor will sponsor a paper-shredding day Oct. 8 from 10 am – 1 pm at the Recreation Park on Summit Road. The shredding is offered free of charge at the same time and location of the town’s regularly scheduled recycling.

• The Egg Harbor Historical Society will hold its annual membership meeting Oct. 20 at the Egg Harbor Town Hall at 7 pm at 5242 County I in Egg Harbor. George Evenson, President of the Door County Historical Society, will present, and cake and refreshments will be provided.
