Sevastopol Class of 2024 Realize ACT Success

Ezra Linnan, son of Sean and Kristine Linnan, a junior at Sevastopol School, earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36 when taking the statewide exam in March. Overall, Sevastopol’s junior class had six out of 32 students that scored a 30 or higher, and more than 85% of the class accomplished improved scores compared to pre-ACT testing results.

“This is a tremendous achievement. Only six percent of students across the country score a 30 or above, and in this class, 20% of our students scored in this top percentage range as juniors,” said Troy Schaefer, Sevastopol High School Principal. “We especially want to recognize and congratulate Ezra who had a perfect score.”

Classmates who achieved a score of 30 or greater on the ACT in March of this year included Kylee Duesler (30), Samantha Herrell (30), Inho Lee (33), Jolene Luedtke (31) and Merrick Mann.
