Sevastopol Hires New Superintendent

At its March 16 meeting the Sevastopol School Board approved the hiring of Kyle Luedtke as the new Superintendent of Schools. He will begin formally on July 1, 2017. The Board of Education will inform the public and school staff in the very near future of an opportunity to meet and greet Mr. Luedtke, who is currently the Superintendent of the Benton School District located in the southwest corner of Wisconsin. He has been the superintendent at Benton for the past six years. He has been in education for the past 24 years as teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. He notably was a WIAA Advisory Council Member – Small School Representative, Past President of the Six Rivers Conference, U.S. Representative Mark Pocan’s Education Advisory Committee member, Benton Business Incubator Board of Directors member, Benton Public Library Board of Directors member, and Cuba City Lions Club member.
