Sevastopol Names Four 2022 Valedictorians

Four outstanding students have been named valedictorians for Sevastopol’s Class of 2022. All four earned a perfect grade-point average and were commended for their hard work and dedication. 

“Each of the students has shown the importance he or she places on their education and future aspirations,” said Sevastopol High School Principal Adam Baier. “The entire district staff joins me in congratulating them on their tremendous accomplishments.” 

Brooklyn Brauner, the daughter of Amy Dettman-Brauner, is planning to pursue a degree in political science. The son of Lindsay and Nick de Young, Jack de Young plans to attend a four-year university in Wisconsin but has not yet declared a major. Lezly Ruiz is the daughter of Erika and Darinel Ruiz and will be pursuing an architecture degree. Natalie Zawojski, the daughter of Kori and Tony Zawojski, plans to study aerospace engineering next year.

Sevastopol will recognize its entire Class of 2022 during its June 5 graduation ceremony.
