Sevastopol Spikers Down Southern Door in Four

Sevastopol’s girls volleyball team picked up another Packerland Conference victory against a county rival Sept. 8 when the Pioneers won at home in four sets over Southern Door, 25-16, 19-25, 25-16, 27-25.
Statistical leaders for the Pioneers included: Johanna Andreae, 14 kills, 12 digs, 10 assists, 2 aces; Bailey Rikkola, 15 digs, 4 aces; and Emma Stueber, 25 assists, 16 digs.
The Eagles’ statistical leaders were: Paige Olson, 7 aces, 8 kills, 4 blocks; Kendra Shimon, 12 kills, 8 digs; Alaina Shimon, 33 assists; and Bella Price, 8 kills, 16 digs.
Sevastopol, which won its conference opener a week earlier at Sturgeon Bay, improved its Packerland match record to 2-0. Southern Door dropped to 0-1 in league play.
