Sevastopol Theatre Presents ‘Little Women’

Sevastopol Theatre will present Paulette Laufer’s Little Women Nov. 1-3.

It’s the story of the four March sisters – Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy – who are growing up and finding love and their places in the world while living with their mother as their father fights in the Civil War.

Sturgeon Bay resident Paulette Laufer adapted the story for the stage from the original Louisa May Alcott novel. Laufer created the adaptation in 1997 while working with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Amy Ensign, who is also the managing director of Door Shakespeare, is directing this production. The play features senior Breanna Jacobs as Jo, sophomore Lilly Turner as Meg, junior Lexie Henkel as Beth and eighth-grader Bea Dramm as Amy. See this production of Little Women in Sevastopol’s elementary gym Nov. 1 and 2 at 7 pm and Nov. 3 at 2 pm.
