Sevastopol Town Board Candidate Forum Jan. 29

The Door County League of Women Voters is sponsoring a candidate forum for the five candidates running for two open seats on the Sevastopol Town Board. The forum is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 29, 6:30 pm (snow date is Jan. 31, 6:30) at the Sevastopol Town Hall. This is an opportunity for the public to become acquainted with candidates Darrick DeMeuse, Kimberly Denil, Tony Haen, Kurt Krauel and Linda Wait. A forum is held to help voters select the most qualified, best-suited person for the office. It is not a debate. The event consists of anonymously written questions from the audience. Each candidate will have an equal opportunity to share his or her positions and views with the public. Attend to ask questions regarding the important issues facing the school district. Those who are unable to attend but who would like to ask questions may send them to [email protected]. The forum will be carried live on Charter Channel 986 and recorded for later repeat broadcast until the election. It will also be available on doorbell.net/video and at leagueofwomenvotersdoorcounty.org.
