Seven CTA Classes Scheduled for 2014

Eleven individuals completed the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Program offered through the Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB). Graduates of the program learn about local history, area attractions and useful resources.

The final two classes of 2013 were held at the Door County Maritime Museum (DCMM) in November and the Sister Bay Bowl in December. Individuals who completed their training were: Julie Gast, DCMM; Wendy Staves, Platypus Advertising & Design; Suzie Blum, Meadow Ridge; John Bartzen, Door County Trolley, Inc.; Susan Zeyher, DCMM; Nancy Wilkes, Platypus; Angela Brand, McKeefry & Yeomans; Danielle Kapolnek, Peninsula Players Theatre; Stephanie Jones, Waterbury Inn; Michael Green, Scrimshanders; and Marybeth Mattson, Novel Ideas.

There are seven classes scheduled for 2014 and the first 100 people to register will be admitted for the special rate of $15 each. The next class will be held Feb. 13 at Sand Bay Beach Resort.
