Shakespeare on the Road to Visit Baileys Harbor

Door Shakespeare is also excited to announce that Shakespeare on the Road will visit Baileys Harbor this August. This year marks the 450th anniversary year of Shakespeare’s birth. To celebrate this milestone and illuminate the many homes of Shakespeare in North America, representatives of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Warwick University will travel to visit fourteen theatres across the country. During their visit, the representatives will meet the Door Shakespeare audience, actors, artists and volunteers as well as digitally archive the 2014 productions. This digital archive will live at Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Also new for the 2014 season, Door Shakespeare will move their administrative office and gift shop to 8093 Highway 57 in Baileys Harbor. They are excited to move to a highly visible and accommodating location. They will need some help with the move of office equipment and costume shop.
