Shepherd of the Bay Hosts Annual Fast Sale October 2

The annual fall sale at Shepherd of the Bay in Ellison Bay will be held Saturday, October 2 from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm.

The sale will offer something for every shopper as well as an opportunity to have a delicious lunch of homemade chili, chicken salad on a croissant, and a tasty autumn dessert. The luncheon will be available from 11 am–- 1 pm.

“Grandma’s Attic,” will feature everything from furniture to fine art. At the “Harvest Table,” customers will find fresh vegetables, canned jellies and jams, home baked pies, cakes, coffee cakes, muffins, cookies, and breads along with potted plants and dried plants.

At the “3rd World Marketplace” visitors can sample fine fair-trade coffees as they shop for high quality creations from artisans and farmers in disadvantaged regions of the world. This year’s event will feature the work from Haitian artisans. The Marketplace products come from around the world through SERRV, Mayaworks, and Los Cuchareros. Unique spoons, basketry, bright textiles, beadwork, toys, musical instruments, and Nativities will be featured at this year’s sale. Proceeds go to the artisans, their families, and their communities.
