Shepherd of the Bay Presents Lenten Musicales

The public is invited to attend the sixth annual series of Lenten Musicales presented by musicians of Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church on three Sundays in February and March at 4 pm. Pianists Judy and Carl Jackson will perform the first of these Sunday musicales on Feb. 26, showcasing their artistry on two grand pianos.

On March 11 the Sanctuary Choir and Bells, under the direction of Gladys Austgen, will provide choral music punctuated by handbells. Naomi Rowley, the church’s principal organist, will be joined by guest flutist Mary Bell on March 25 in a program of solo organ music as well as compositions for flute and organ together to conclude this year’s series.

Each concert is approximately 30 to 40 minutes and is free and open to the public.
