Shepherd of the Bay’s Annual Fall Sale Set for Oct. 5

A nativity tree skirt from Peru is one of the many unique offerings at Shepherd of the Bay’s WELCA Fall Sale on Oct. 5.

Shepherd of the Bay’s annual fall sale, sponsored by WELCA (the church’s women’s group), will be held Oct. 5 from 11 am – 2 pm at the church located at the top of the hill in Ellison Bay. A luncheon will be served from 11:30 am – 1 pm with chicken salad sandwiches on Pastor Foster’s fresh baked croissants and tomato-bisque soup.

This year’s sale will feature arts and crafts created by church members, a harvest table of fruits, vegetables, fresh baked goods, fairly traded organic coffees and teas, a tied quilt silent auction, and nativities created by artisans from developing countries around the world. All proceeds go to WELCA Missions projects.
