Sherwood Point Grill to Host Soup Cook-Off

On March 26 at 1 pm, the Sherwood Point Grill (formerly known as the Fishing Hole) will host a Soup Cook-Off to benefit the Door County Humane Society (DCHS). Those in attendance will have the opportunity to try each contestant’s soup and vote on which entry is the best. In addition there will be a 50-50 raffle and door prizes with all proceeds benefiting DCHS. For individuals interested in participating, call Eric at 920.743.9814 or stop at the restaurant to sign up. All Cook-Off entries will be cooked at home and need to be at Sherwood Point Grill by noon on the day of the event.

“Please take this opportunity to join in the fun and have a great afternoon tasting fantastic local soups while supporting the many homeless cats and dogs in the Door County community. If you are interested in bringing a donation item for DCHS as your admission to the event we are always in need of scoopable cat litter (any brand), Purina One Cat Food Chicken and Rice, Purina One Dog Food and any other pet-related items. For our full wish list visit our website at doorcountyhumanesociety.org,” said Communications and Development Coordinator April Delfosse.

Admission is either $3 or an item off the DCHS wish list. Sherwood Point Grill is located at 6962 County Road M, Sturgeon Bay.
