Shipwrecked Microbrewery Finds Brewmaster

Richard Zielke joins the staff at Shipwrecked microbrewery, restaurant and inn in Egg Harbor as the new brewmaster. Originally from Illinois, Zielke with his wife of 16 years, Theresa, and three boys Eli (7), Wes (12) and Jake (14) return to the Midwest from Colorado. Zielke was assistant to the owner/ head brewer of Estes Park Brewery in Colorado, a very popular destination at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Zielke started brewing in 1997 and brings his experience from the Great American Brew Festival, niche brewing seminars and the knowledge and culture of the three big brewing states (CA, CO and WI) to Shipwrecked. Zielke is excited to be on staff where his experience will be showcased with new seasonal brews as well as all the old Shipwrecked favorites.
