Short Film Fest Encore Weekend

Door County North will host a two-day, encore presentation of the 10th annual Door County Short Film Fest at Mink River Basin in Ellison Bay.

On April 19, 7 pm, the regionally produced feature film Lake Michigan Monster will be shown on a large projection screen in the dining room. On April 20, short films from around the world will run from 2 to 8 pm, with multiple intermissions for free popcorn. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

The 2019 People’s Choice award at the 10th annual festival, held in February, went to Hoan Alone: Personal Stories from the Bridge, directed by Aaron Johnson of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The 2019 Jury Award recipient was The Secret Lives of Teachers, directed by Steve Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona.Tickets are $10 per person for an all-access weekend pass.
