Showcasing Shared Food

The final 2014 Heritage Dinner Series at the Farm Market Kitchen is Rustic Italian & Wine Country Favorites on Sept. 18. The series is a showcase event of the Farm Market Kitchen Incubator, a shared-used food-processing center in Algoma.

Proceeds from the dinners help support Farm Market Kitchen programs. The center not only makes kitchen space available for rent by the hour but also offers technical support, business assistance programs and custom processing services.

The Sept. 18th dinner will be held at the Gerald J. Haegele Center 520 Parkway, adjacent to the Algoma lighthouse. Dinner includes appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. The evening starts at 5:30 pm with appetizers and cash bar, and dinner begins at 6 pm. The cost is $18. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended.
