Sibilsky’s Mustang Sculpture on Display in New York

“Cayuse, Wild Mustang of the West” – a sculpture by Algoma artist Bren Sibilsky – will appear in the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club’s 124th annual Open Juried Exhibition, held at the Salmagundi Club in New York through June 4. All participants are eligible to receive more than $10,000 in prizes.

Sibilsky is a full-time sculptor and painter whose creations reside in many collections throughout North America and Europe, and her work has been juried into many regional and international shows. Her current focus is on several commissions and planning for the 2021 Lost Wax bronze-casting class at the Algoma Atelier of Sculpture and Art with professional instructors Ken and Mary Davidson.

Sibilsky’s studio and gallery (brensculpture.com), E5977 Fremont Road in Algoma, is open Friday – Monday, 12-5 pm; or by appointment.
