Sievers Yarn Shop Opens for the 2018 Season

Door County’s only knitting shop, the Sievers Yarn Shop features quality knitting and weaving yarns, needles and accessories, fabric and notions and other fiber art supplies. Some of the yarns offered include Baa Ram Ewe, Blue Sky Fibers, Brown Sheep, Isager, Knit Circus, Koigu, Madelinetosh, Malabrigo, Rowan, Sublime, plus local handspun yarns.

Sievers carries more than 400 craft and gift book titles, knitting patterns and fiber-related magazines. In addition, original arts and fine crafts made by more than 100 of Sievers own teachers and students are sold.

Sievers Yarn Shop is located at 986 Jackson Harbor Road on Washington Island in a refurbished one-room schoolhouse. They are open 10 am to 5 pm daily, May 21 through Oct.  31. For more information visit sieversschool.com or call 920.847.2264.
