Sigmund Snopek to Perform at the Holiday Music Motel in Sturgeon Bay

Composer, performer, bandleader, multi-instrument sideman, orchestrator – Sigmund Snopek has long worn many musical hats. Now the Steel Bridge Songfest veteran is returning to Sturgeon Bay for a solo showcase at the Holiday Music Motel on Saturday, March 5 at 7 pm.

Since the late ‘60s Snopek has delighted in sharing his talent and creativity with audiences worldwide, both as a solo artist and with groups ranging from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra to the Violent Femmes. A typical Snopek show features the artist’s signature vocal and keyboard solos, highlighted by expert performances on flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, and various horns. Transitioning seamlessly through his diverse and expansive repertoire of classical, rock, jazz, and pop music, his distinct compositions are characterized by memorable melodies and a rich, lyrical quality.
