“Sip and Savor,” Beer and Cheese Tastings During March

Schoolhouse Artisan Cheese will continue the “Sip and Savor” tasting evenings during March where Wisconsin’s finest artisan cheeses are matched up with handcrafted beer.

The store’s lead cheesemonger and beer expert, Peter Kordon, will host two special evenings in March to familiarize the novice to expert in some incredible cheese and beverage pairings.

On March 3, beers from Door County’s own Shipwrecked Brewery will be paired with Wisconsin artisan cheeses. Beers will include Captain’s Copper Red Ale, Peninsula Porter, and Spruce Tip Ale.

On March 17, Leprechaun costumes will be option for “Pub Cheese and Shillelaghs.” Wisconsin artisan cheeses inspired by the British Isles will be paired with none other than Guinness Stout, Harp Ale, and a surprise or two.

The events are free and held from 5 – 7 pm at the Egg Harbor location, 7813 Highway 42.
