Sister Bay and Egg Harbor Named Best Destinations for Art and Dining

Earlier this spring, a committee of Wisconsin travel writers, along with the state’s first lady Jessica Doyle, asked newspaper readers across the state to vote for their favorite small towns (population less than 15,000) in 20 categories at http://www.wondersofwisconsin.com.

Door County took first place in two of the 20 categories. Sister Bay was named “Best Small Town Dining Destination.” Readers gave special notice to The Inn at Kristofer’s when making their votes. Egg Harbor was hailed for its art selection by being named “Best Galleries and Art Scene Destination.”

Results for the small town destination awards were listed in an article written by travel writer Mary Bergwin. The article ran in a variety of newspapers across the state including the Madison Capital Times and the Green Bay Press Gazette.
