Sister Bay Bowl Claims Hilander Cup

After two postponements due to poor ice conditions, the Northern Door Broomball League finally squeezed in the championship game of its Hilander Cup tournament Feb. 25. In the final, the Sister Bay Bowl out-paced On Deck 3 – 1 behind goals from Rick Chomeau, Tyler Adams, and Mike Daubner. Mike Cole chipped in the only goal for On Deck, which played without its star, Freddie Bexell, the league’s leading scorer.

Earlier in the evening On Deck beat JJ’s 4 – 0 to earn a place in the championship game. Mitch Neuchter scored two goals to lead On Deck.
