Sister Bay Fall Festival Celebrates 65th Anniversary

The 65th annual Sister Bay Fall Fest will be held October 15 – 17 throughout the Village of Sister Bay.

This Door County festival features the largest parade of the year, an arts and crafts festival, food and beverages, children activities, and live music throughout town. The grand finale of the festival is the Ping-Pong Ball Shoot, scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday.

The Fall Fest Parade will be held Saturday at 11 am. This year’s Parade Marshall will be the 2010 Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Volunteer of the Year. Marching bands from throughout the peninsula, along with the Milwaukee Scottish Pipe Band will perform in the parade. All Door County individuals, businesses and groups are invited to enter a float in the parade or dress up in costume and entertain the crowd.

The Sister Bay Lions Club will host a Door County Fish Boil Friday night at the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station; the Gibraltar High School Junior Class will host a Cake Walk Friday night in the Village Hall, and the Northern Door Kiwanis will serve pancakes Saturday morning in the Village Hall. Teens from all schools are invited to a Teen Dance in the Village Hall Saturday night. The Door County Humane Society Dog Show will be held on Saturday.
