Sister Bay Historical Society Hosts Ice Cream Social

Popular local musicians David Hatch and Lynn Gudmundsen will combine their talents to provide entertainment at the annual Ice Cream Social hosted by the Sister Bay Historical Society. This year’s event will be held on July 19 from 6 – 8 pm. The cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children (children three years of age or younger are free). All funds raised will help support ongoing renovation projects at the historical museum.

This old-fashioned family event will feature do-it-yourself sundaes along with a variety of homemade cakes and other goodies served in the historic Koessl Barn on the grounds of the Corner of the Past Museum.

Area residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy a relaxing evening in a unique setting reflecting the rich history of the Sister Bay area. Centerpiece of the grounds is the Old Anderson House, a 1870s farmhouse original to the property. The museum also includes a wide variety of farm buildings, a sawmill, vintage tools and historic photos.

The Corner of the Past is located on Highway 57 at the intersection of Fieldcrest Road and Country Lane on the southeastern edge of Sister Bay.
