Sister Bay Historical Society Presents a Garden Walk

The 9th annual “A Day in the Garden” event sponsored by the Sister Bay Historical Society will include several unique opportunities to visit local gardens of all descriptions. The walk will take place July 7 and feature the first-ever tour of a classic Beach Road summer home built in 1915, a chance to enjoy the entries in this year’s Scarecrow Contest, an Ephraim inn, and individual gardens clustered in Ellison Bay’s Cottage Glen subdivision and the Harbor Highlands in Baileys Harbor.

Ticket sales outlets for the garden tour include the Visitor Information Centers in Sister Bay and Ephraim, Jerry’s Flowers and Baylake Bank in Sister Bay, and Sunnypoint Gardens and Gifts, located south of Egg Harbor. Tickets are $10 per person, and may also be purchased at the Corner of the Past Historical Museum at Saturday morning Farmers’ Markets.

Participating gardens will be open from 10 am – 4 pm, rain or shine. Maps and detailed directions to each site are included in the ticket folder; parking signs will be displayed at all locations.
