Sister Bay Ice Out Winners Announced

Congratulations to the winners of the 80th annual Ice Out Contest in Sister Bay. This year the Ice Out raft started floating at 12:15 am on April 15, in the middle of a record 30-inch snowfall in Sister Bay. Participating businesses and winners are:  Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant – Patrick Seubert; Bargains Unlimited – Jay Lott; Bay Shore Outfitters – Amy Russell; Bhirdo’s Shell – Stephanie Lundquist; Ecology Sports – George Freeman; Good Samaritan-Scandia Village – Sary Crag; Hammersmith TV & Radio Shack – Linda Silvasi-Kelly; Husby’s Food & Spirits – Rose Long; Kellstrom-Ray Agency – Deb Eckert; Lampert Lumber – Jerry Brandt; Northern Door Communications – Pat Skogsbakken; On Deck Clothing Company – Donna Ofenloch; Sister Bay Automotive – Shaun Huggins; Sister Bay Bowl – Sherrie Willems; Sub Express – Jerry Brandt; Top Shelf Café & Gourmet – Mickie Rasch; Yacht Works – Donna Ofenloch; and $100 grand prize – Jay Lott. Winners can pick up their prizes at the business where they entered their winning vote.
