Sister Bay Lions Club Donates to “Adopt A Soldier”

The Forestville American Legion Women’s Auxilliary Post 372 sponsors the “Adopt A Soldier” program here in Door County. Their mission is to send care packages eight times per year to 177 local soldiers and local Coast Guard personnel who are serving stateside and overseas. In addition they have included Coast Guard personnel who are away from home and are serving in Sturgeon Bay. On March 15, the Sister Bay Lions donated $1,000 to this project. Lion Treasurer Peter Passuntino and Lion Fred Landstorm presented the check to Nancy Hutchinson, program coordinator.
