Sister Bay Museum Closing for Season

Sunday, September 28 will mark the end of the 2008 season for the “Corner of the Past’s” Old Anderson House museum facility.

The old Sister Bay homestead will be open to the public over the next two weekends, with docents on hand to provide insights to the home life of a typical 19th century Northern Door farm family. Admission is $1.

The adjacent grounds, with an extensive collection of restored vintage farm buildings and equipment, will remain assessable to the public on weekends until mid-October, with a Farm Market and craft displays scheduled every Saturday morning.

Operated by the Sister Bay Historical Society, the facility is located on Highway 57 and Fieldcrest Road on the southeastern edge of the village.
