Sister Bay to Begin Burying Power Lines

Street-goers in Sister Bay will soon look up to clear skies when power lines are buried.

The long-awaited burying of Sister Bay’s power lines will begin Feb. 2.

Utility crews from Wisconsin Public Service, KS Energy Services, Frontier and Charter Communications will be placing all overhead electric, telecommunications and cable lines underground. There is no service interruption anticipated throughout the project for the general area, and both the new underground and overhead services will be in place until the work is completed.

Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May. Traffic will remain 2-way throughout most of the project. For updated information, visit sisterbaywi.gov.
