Sister Bay Trading to Make Donation to Altrusa

On Saturday, August 23 Sister Bay Trading Company, a fine furnishings and award-winning interior design studio, will be donating 10 percent from all retail sales for the day to the Altrusa Club of Door County.

Altrusa is an international network of executives and professionals in diversified career classifications, dedicated to improving their communities by personal service. Through their local clubs, members unite their varied talents in service to others. Altrusa is recognized internationally for the significant contributions of its clubs and members.

The major focus of the Door County chapter of Altrusa is to encourage and strengthen literacy throughout the county. One way that this has been accomplished is through its Back to School Fair program where over 200 students from low-income homes are given the school supplies required to begin the school year.
