Sister Bay’s Domicile Art Fair Returns

The 22nd annual Art Fair at Domicile will take place Friday and Saturday, August 6 and 7, 10 am – 5 pm, in Sister Bay. The public is welcome to stroll the grounds and meet the artists displaying jewelry, pottery, stained glass, mosaics, carvings, paintings, and more.

In the Domicile tradition, several artists will be demonstrating their techniques and craft during the fair including woodcarvers Hank Bardenhagen, Ron Odegaard, and Ralph Malec, painter Sue Vinyeard, and wool spinner Rick Harabes.

The Birch Creek Jazz Ambassadors will perform a free concert at 1 pm on Friday, August 6. Folk performer Mark Raddatz, along with sons Seth and Austin, will perform at 1 pm on Saturday, August 7. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Domicile and The Gallery at Domicile will be open during the fair. The current exhibit is “Second Wind,” featuring many Wisconsin artists who have turned to art after retirement from other careers. Domicile and The Gallery at Domicile are open seasonally, May through October, Wednesday – Sunday.

Parking is available next door at Schoolhouse Park. Refreshments, including Wisconsin bratwurst, will be available. Domicile is located at 10592 Highway 57 in Sister Bay, just one block south of the Highway 42/57 intersection at the corner of Canterbury Lane and Highway 57. For more information call 920.854.9005.
