Culver’s in Sturgeon Bay will hold the Skate Into Delicious fundraiser to benefit the Sturgeon Bay Skatepark Initiative (SBSI) on Sept. 21, 10 am to 10:30 pm.

Patrons who support the skatepark should present a printed Skate Into Delicious flier. Culver’s will donate a minimum of 10 percent of every order that’s accompanied by the flier. The donated percentage increases as participation increases. Skate Into Delicious fliers are available at Young Automotive, Bay Pharmacy, sbskate.org, and from any SBSI members. Fliers are also available at Culver’s.

Claudia Dubuque, one of the parents involved in SBSI, speaks for the whole group in expressing gratitude to Culver’s. “It’s been such a pleasure to work with the Esposito and Sikora families. We couldn’t be more thrilled by Culver’s timing and generosity. We are 80 percent of the way to meeting our goal and hope to break ground next spring. Everyone who brings a flier to Culver’s on Saturday makes that more of a possibility! We’ll have kids and adults on hand all day to talk about the park and answer questions.”

SBSI is a fund of the Door County Community Foundation. Tax-deductible contributions may be sent to DCCF, P.O. Box 802, Sturgeon Bay, Wis. For more information, visit sbskate.org or call 920.746.1786.
