A Ski-For-Free volunteer training will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 6:30 – 7:15 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek Environmental Preserve. Learn how to hand out skis and snowshoes to people of all ages who come to borrow the free equipment to use on Crossroad’s five-mile trail system.
This winter, Ski-For-Free will be open to the community on snow-covered Saturdays from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and 1-3:30 pm Sundays. Volunteer to be part of the team, have fun and promote healthy lifelong outdoor recreation in the community. Volunteers with all levels of time commitments are welcome. Call 920.746. 5895 to sign up as a volunteer and for the training. Ski-For-Free is sponsored by Friends of Crossroads and Door County Silent Sports.
