Sky-Viewing Night, Apollo Program

Door Peninsula Astronomical Society (DPAS) will host a viewing night starting at 7 pm, Saturday, June 8, with planetarium shows every half hour and then outdoor viewing starting at 9 pm. DPAS also will open the dome of the Leif Everson Observatory at dark. 

The event is free and open to the public.

DPAS member Alec Bath will give a talk on the Apollo program, and the 1960s engineering challenges of landing on the moon, at 7 pm, Tuesday, June 11. 

Weather permitting, night-sky viewing will follow the meeting, which is free and open to the public.  

DPAS is located at 2200 Utah St., Sturgeon Bay.
