Small Forest to Play Door County Brewing Company Feb. 20

Small Forest returns to play at Door County Brewing on February 20 at 7 pm. Come by, grab a beer and listen to the musical styling of Small Forest live in Door County Brewing Company’s tap room.

“Small Forest is dedicated to creating their own sound with voices raised, drums-a-beating, bass lines grooving, and timeless messages shared. Their passion for nature, community, storytelling and harmony inspire and delight audiences wherever they roam,” said Sue Demel of the band Sons of the Never Wrong.

Small Forest is a progressive folk/rock trio featuring Jeanne Kuhns, Marybeth Mattson and Patrick Palmer. The collaborative songwriting of Kuhns and Mattson has a wonderful energy and fun multigenerational vibe, mixing essences of the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt and Fiona Apple. This Door County-based band performs their original songs featuring soaring blood harmonies with strong rhythm and fingerpicking styles on acoustic guitars, adding the heartbeat of the Djembe and innovative baselines and harmonies by Palmer.
