Small World Market and Artists Guild Open in Expanded Space on Sept. 4

The Artists Guild LLC and Small World Market LLC are moving to the former Harmann Building at the corner of N. Third Avenue and Kentucky Street. The businesses will be closed to the public during the move.

“We appreciate our customers’ patience while we briefly close for the move,” said co-owner Sarah Bradley. “We really look forward to re-opening in the new building. We think that everyone, present customers and newcomers alike, will be excited to visit us in our new expanded space.”

The new location at 211 and 215 N. Third Ave. will provide room for additional merchandise as well as creating a more spacious shopping experience. Artists Guild sells art supplies and custom framing; its staff members are certified art materials specialists. Small World Market sells gifts, clothing, books and jewelry made by Fair Trade companies that guarantee a living wage to their employees.

Small World Market will close on August 21 and Artists Guild on August 24. Both stores will reopen in the new location on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
