Smart Move for Northern Door Children’s Center

Time is running out to buy raffle tickets for the Northern Door Children’s Center’s Smart Car raffle. The winner of the fuel-efficient ride will be drawn Oct. 26 at 2 pm.

To get your name in the pot, buy a $20 ticket by Oct. 26 at noon. The grand prize includes the car and $5,000. No more than 4,000 raffle tickets will be sold, and they can be picked up at the Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) during regular office hours, or at many area businesses.

The center has raffled an automobile annually since 2004 to support the general operation of the center. Funds raised are crucial in assisting with keeping fees affordable for the families using child care and early childhood education services at NDCC. The automobile has been generously donated to NDCC by benefactor Judith Blazer.

The drawing takes place October 26 at Northern Door Children’s Center, 10520 Judith Blazer Drive, Sister Bay at 2 pm. You need not be present to win.
