The SNOWKRAFT Nordic fat bike race originally scheduled for Saturday will take place Sunday, Jan. 28 instead. The race starts at 9 am.
The Koldwave race, part of the Snow Crown Wisconsin Fat Bike Series, takes place at the SNOWKRAFT Nordic bike and ski trail grounds just north of Sturgeon Bay. The private course was created by avid fat tire cyclist and skier Tom Parsons over several years, and features some of the best riding in Northeast Wisconsin. The course is not open to the public but has hosted the Koldwave race for the last four years.
The eight-mile loop features stretches of technical single track and smooth, wide portions of the ski trail.
