Snowy Days Medallion Winner Announced

The Snowy Days Medallion Search, sponsored by the Lodge at Leathem Smith, is over. The search began Feb. 4 and ended Feb. 22. Participants in the Snowy Days Medallion Search could purchase a $5 button for the chance to win $1,000. All proceeds go to the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus.

Jedediah Schulz was the big winner when he found the medallion under the small bridge on Utah Street in Sturgeon Bay near Crossroads at Big Creek. Schulz; his wife, Kristen; and their daughter, Violet, studied every clue together and drew up maps to determine where the medallion could be hidden.

“The Snow Days Medallion Search is meant to give families something fun to do in the winter while raising money for a great cause,” said Paul Maleen, owner of the Lodge at Leathem Smith. “That was accomplished this year with the Schulz family working together and creating family memories.” For more information, email [email protected] or call 920.743.5555.
